Swaraj Trophy
The Swaraj Trophy is the highest award presented annually by the Government of Kerala to local self-government institutions that demonstrate outstanding performance. The award is given after evaluating the development and welfare activities, administrative excellence, fund utilization, and waste management practices of Gram Panchayats, Block Panchayats, District Panchayats, Municipalities, and Corporations across the state.
The Mariyapuram Grama Panchayat was honored with the Swaraj Trophy for the year 2021–2022 in recognition of its exemplary performance.
