Location
Mariyapuram Grama Panchayat is situated in the central-eastern part of Idukki District. It shares its boundaries with Arakkulam, Upputhara, Kanchiyar, Kanchikuzhy, Vathikudy, Vazathope and Kamakshi Grama Panchayats. This provides the region with good local connectivity and accessibility.
